In response to Mr. Flitworth's and Dr. Cadwalliter's recent contributions:

Some difficulty is with me as to the following of the Doctor's discourse (alas, English is to me a lingua sexta; this is hardly an excuse) so I plead that any misunderstandings be forgiven and corrected. I agree with Dr. Cadwalliter that we, in short, know very little, and with Mr. Flitworth in that the ascertainment of the existence and whereabouts of likewise demonically opposed factions such as ourselves; likewise I agree that the remedying of our rather serious dearth of information is of primary importance. Yet I believe that of primary importance only in relation to the larger context of our ongoing battle, this is. This end cannot possibly be met if we are not to stay out of the clutches of Her Majesty's judiciaries, is it not thus? I believe that it is commonly accepted that necessary conditions for the obtaining of a given end, even should this end be evaluated as far greater than the necessary conditions, take primary importance in the striving to obtain said end (by virtue of being necessary, it is unnecessary to remark). Therefore: we do need an alibi.

But similarly, through Stoatley's argument, I have become rather more than less convinced that this is not so bad as all that. All we need to do is to tell the same story, and everything should be being fine. So it is only important to get the details of this down correctly, and I believe this we have done:

There was an accident, wherein Mr. Persicue and Dr. Cadwalliter each the other has shot;

Should anyone discover the iron filings around the church, as much in a position to tell anyone why they are there as anybody else we are (with the possible exception of Jim, who may have put them there thinking that this he has been told to do or has not noticed the hole in the bag);

We are not knowing anybody named Grossman;

We are not knowing anything about the church burning down;

We are not believing in spooks.

Is this allright?

Where are the 'hallowed halls of the fifth estate'? Maybe Stoatley has something to offer as regards police opinion?

Dr. A.G. P-S

Oh also-- I am thinking to myself that it is a very very very bad idea to firebomb the police station. All due respects.
