Mr. Flitworth,

To whatever effect:

According to my (admittedly unreliable) recollections, the sequence of various events and arrivals something like this is. Sunday28th. December returned we from a six-day interdimensional jaunt. Tuesday Dec. 30th Persicue received urgent summonsfrom Stoatley's alternate to London, whence Persicue, Stoatley, JimTremaine, Miss Fairberry and myself later that same morning departed.Wednesday morning we wentfrom London to Broughton-on-Sea, having left telegrammed message for you with Jerence there to join us.Wednesday Dec. 30th late morning saw the unfortunate incident involving thelate Mr. Samuel O'Keefe. You arrived in the afternoon of Thursday Dec. 31stin time toaccompany us to Evensong. Cadwalliter had Friday morning 1st Jan 1884 at10:30 AM arrived; we spent much of this morning, you will be recalling, inconversation, and the afternoon and evening concerned with running about inthe neighboring town of Broughton/ mucking about in churches/ chasing spellcasters/ mucking about in andoutwith trains/ etc.. Saturday 2nd Jan was of course the day of the Mass,on which day we are supposed not anywhere near the church to have been, atleast not during mass, and on which day the fateful snipe-hunting accident is supposed to have taken place, and on which early evening we left. I hope this is helping. My blessings toyour machinations.

Dr. A.G. Pitcairn-Strangechilde
